MEMORIAL DAY COLLEGE SHOWCASE

The Needham Memorial Day Tournament prides itself on putting together a quality tournament for the past 31 years. Each year, based off our experience and suggestions given, we take steps and make decisions to better the tournament from the previous year. This year is no exception and we are proud to announce our New College Invitational Showcase for U15 - U19 boys and girls teams.

In order to provide the best college showcase in the northeast the Needham Memorial Day Tournament (NMDT) has partnered with Mass Premier Soccer (MPS) to jointly run the college showcase.

About Mass Premier Soccer:

Since 2001, the MPS Academy has established itself as a leading provider of camps, clinics and coach education throughout Eastern Massachusetts. The camp program registers over 4,000 campers every summer and the clinic program works with over 40,000 players throughout the year.

The School of Excellence Program has grown exponentially since its inception and caters for players aged U-8 to U-12 in multiple locations throughout MA.  

The Premier Program includes both Premier and Premier Development Teams and caters for players aged 13-18. The U-19 and U-20 teams now train with the 1^st teams creating a unique environment for the players at the top of the MPS pyramid. Mass Premier Soccer has enjoyed success at the National level since 2001. The MPS Renegades won the W-League title in 2001 and 2002 and the MPS Crusaders repeated the feat in 2002 and 2003 in the PDL. The Club has also won 5 youth national titles at the Y-League level and 1 US Club Soccer National championship.

The NMDT College Invitational Showcase will be host to many college coaches and provides:

• Quality Fields specific to the showcase
• Player Data & Profiles for College Recruiters via Soccer Scheduler
• Top Premier Teams from Around the Nation
• 3 referees per game by some of the top USSF registered referees in the country
• Advancement to Championship Play
• Coach’s Hospitality Suite at one of our sponsored hotels.
