The Needham Soccer Club, located 15 miles west of Boston, is proud to host its 36th Memorial Day Tournament and MPS College Showcase with Mass Premier Soccer, taking place May 25 - 28, 2012.
Our Needham Invitational is one of the oldest and highest ranked Memorial Day Tournaments in the country for premier and town teams. Our MPS College Showcase is now a favorite destination for top-caliber teams from throughout the Northeast United States, Canada and England.
2011's tournament proved to be a huge success with 700 teams attending and two feature games which were played at Gillette Stadium prior to a New England Revolution Game. We pride ourselves in our 35 years of experience and knowing how to run a fun, professional and seamless tournament. We are constantly focusing on making improvements for your total "tournament experience".
New England is a hotbed for Colleges - in 2008 we ran our first MPS College Showcase which became an instant success with over 100 top caliber club teams and attended by 70 plus college coaches. The showcase continued to grow in 2009, in 2010 and in 2011 we accepted 280 Showcase teams and over 180 college coaches.
In order to make our tournament one of the best you can find we have our games refereed by some of the top USSF registered referees in the country and from around the world. Because of this we our used as Referee Certification and Referee Mentoring Tournament, 2011 saw over 400 referees participate in our 3-man system.

Interest in our tournament is always great and this year we expect the tournament will be attended by over 700 teams. We have already received many inquiries into the tournament and our hotel partners are already filling up their blocks.

Teams that applied by our March 1 application deadline will be notified of acceptance on March 20.
Teams that apply after March 1 will be placed on our Wait List, and acceptance notifications will be processed after all On-Time applicants are processed.
